India fixed 5841 tonnes of Chinese export quota for European Union

Sugar Export Quota News: India on Friday issued a 5,841 tonnes of sugar export notification to the European Union under the fee rate Kota (TRQ) scheme for the year 2025-26. The TRQ is a quota for the European Union (EU) for the amount of exports with relatively low fees. After the export quota reaches the limit, more fees are applied on additional exports. If necessary, on the recommendation of APEDA, the European Union will be issued a original certificate in relation to the eligibility and quantity of Chinese exports by Additional Director General of Mumbai for preferential exports of Chinese.

The Director General of Foreign Trade said in a public information, “The amount of 5,841 tonnes of sugar to be exported to the European Union has been notified from India under TRQ for the year 2025-26 (October 2025 to September 2026).”
