Committed to pursue relations on the basis of mutual respect, sensitivity: Modi said to Xi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi told Chinese President Xi Chinfing that India is committed to pursue its relations with China on the basis of mutual trust, respect and sensitivity.

The two leaders held extensive talks to re -combine bilateral relations. In his initial speech on television, Modi said that the welfare of 2.8 billion people is associated with bilateral cooperation between India and China.

The Prime Minister said that there is peace and stability on the border after the previous year’s (border from border) withdrawal process and direct flights between the two countries are being resumed.

The Prime Minister also mentioned the resumption of the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. He said that there was an agreement between our special representatives on border management. There is a mechanism of special representatives on the border issue to resolve the border issues between India and China.

Modi said, “We are committed to pursue our cooperation on the basis of mutual trust, respect and sensitivity.” The Prime Minister also congratulated Xi for successfully presiding over the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). Modi arrived in China on a two -day visit on Saturday after a gap of seven years. He is in China to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit.
