Cheap Russian Oil for India

Indian refineries have resumed purchases of Russian oil after a short time in early August, and low prices of Urals are expected to speed up demand. Last week, the Ural was introduced at a discount of around $ 2.50 per barrel, which is more than a dollar discount seen in July, while recently the US crude oil bought by some Indian refineries came at a premium of $ 3.

Prior to the official talks, the two leaders held an informal conversation while going to their bilateral meeting site in the same car after finishing their program at the Shanghai Cooperation Sangathan (SCO) summit.

The Russian President waited for about 10 minutes for Prime Minister Modi to accompany him before riding in the car. People familiar with the case said that even after reaching the venue, Prime Minister Modi and Putin spent 45 more minutes in the car.
